At the Village Hall

Doncaster Woodturning Club meet on the last Monday in the month at the Village Hall and their aim is to help members become better turners, share best practice and host demonstrations from professional turners. New members are always welcome, their calendar can be found here

The WI provides a great excuse to go out and meet other women in the area. This modern women’s group encourages women of all ages, from diverse backgrounds, to meet, learn new skills and most importantly, make lasting friendships. Finningley is an idyllic area, with a real community spirit, and has always had a very successful WI dating back to the 1950s. The WI have their own site here

Cavy Corner Guinea Sanctuary rescue centre is based in Bentley and they do a great job in supporting and re-homing the smaller pets that need our help, their site is here

Yorkshire Wildlife Park has a growing reputation along with its growing gang of animals. It is a great place to visit and see some interesting animals not found in the countryside around Finningley, find out more here
